The Big Bear Choppers brand, based in San Bernardino, California, United States of America, was founded in 1998 as a custom bike shop by Kevin Alsop and his wife, Mona Alsop. The firm was later bought by Simon Scott, owner and CEO at Rage Hard Choppers, in 2011. Kevin Alsop stayed in the firm as head designer after that.
