Yamaha MT-125
From a press release issued By Yamaha Motor Corp: Joining the unmistakable style and next-generation design of its bigger brothers, the MT-125 gets an all-new look, including a redesigned seat which gives it a stretched, leaner silhouette as well as improving ergonomics and the connection between the rider and machine. A more sculpted and aggressive new tank design adds to rider
ergonomics and urban looks.
A new facelift creates urban attitude with a sharp, angular face design complete with a dark smoke transparent front mask and MT-125 logo. Blade-like LED position lights and LED indicators complete a more integrated and modern lighting system, giving increased visibility. A higher-contrast colour scheme with the introduction of Redline White, including a two-tone seat, joins the existing iconic colours of Ice Storm, Icon Blue and Tech Black, with a bold new 125 graphic on the side.
A legacy that can’t be beaten
Attitude that excites: Welcome to the next generation A sculpted new tank shape, combined with a distinctive
textured panel along the side fairing with a transparent smoked, glitchy pattern
with a visible MT logo give the MT-125 its ageless attitude. The new shape
provides added comfort for the rider both in a relaxed position when commuting
through city streets, and in a more aggressive position when tackling twisty
bends for the thrill of the ride. Retaining its 125cc engine with VVA, Deltabox frame, 41mm upside down forks and 810mm seat height, the 2027 MT-125 boasts the same exceptional handling, grip and control that riders are accustomed to. Its torque-rich acceleration and performance is guaranteed to thrill. Ensuring riders stay connected and informed on every ride is a five-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity via the free Yamaha MyRide app and integrated navigation with turn-by-turn directions. This connectivity allows the rider to manage calls, music and messages while on the go.
Ready to excite Designed to catch the eye, a higher contrast colour scheme has been introduced with Redline White, including a two-tone seat, joining the existing iconic colour lineup of Ice Storm, Icon Blue and Tech Black, with a bold new ‘125’ side graphic across the tank of each colour model. Aggressive by nature, bold by design and built to thrill, the 2027 MT-125 is ready to excite.
