From a press release byTriumph:

A bold upright stance, minimalist lines and rugged detailing give the XC its commanding presence. With authentic Triumph design cues throughout, it blends timeless style with functional form.

Design
Rugged, confident and unmistakably Triumph. Built to explore, styled to stand out.

The chassis of the Scrambler 400 XC is engineered to deliver exceptional control and comfort across road and off-road conditions, combining Triumph’s signature easy, confidence-inspiring handling with added adventure-ready poise.

Featuring deep knee indents, tank infills and contrast accents, the tank is classic Scrambler, through and through. Machined cooling fins, signature engine casings finished in black powder coat, Triumph triangle badging and a finned cylinder head, all nestled beautifully in a classic cradle frame.

A twin-exit muffler defines the bike’s side profile and delivers that distinctive exhaust note.

The simple and purposeful, two-piece designed seat provides comfort for long rides and is finished in black to complement the bold color options.Fender and flyscreen are painted to match the body color of the bike and mounted high for attitude and trail-readiness, both components add practical protection and a visual edge.

Performance and Technology
The 398cc liquid-cooled TR-series engine is engineered to deliver strong low-end torque and responsive top-end performance. With 39.5 HP peak power at 8,000 rpm and 27.7 LBFT of torque at 6,500 rpm, it’s as flexible as it is fun.

Linear, accessible, and controllable power delivery is confidence-inspiring and easy to ride for riders of all experience levels for city traffic, open roads and light trails alike.

Ride-by -wire throttle provides a precise, smooth response while seamlessly integrating with rider aids such as traction control and ABS.

The slip-and-assist clutch gives a light, easy clutch lever action and provides peace of mind when downshifting on loose surfaces and in tricky conditions.

The six-speed gearbox delivers a light, precise gear selection with ratios perfectly spread to make the most of this exciting, characterful and torque-rich engine.

Switchable Traction Control adds a layer of confidence when conditions change. Easily turned off for off-road use or when a more direct connection to the terrain is preferred.

Optimized for the dirt, Off-Road ABS disables rear-wheel intervention for better control on mud or gravel, while ensuring front wheel braking stability.

High-performance 43mm upside-down forks. Gold anodised big piston upside-down forks deliver excellent damping performance and ensures a smooth ride over varied terrain.

Side-laced spoked wheels with lightweight Excel aluminum rims deliver Scrambler attitude with modern tubeless practicality, combining timeless style and rugged capability. The 19-Inch front wheel provides improved front-end stability and off-road performance, providing confident control when the going gets tough. Metzeler Karoo Street Tubeless Tires offers confident grip and stable feedback across mixed terrain.

Factory-fitted and trail-tough, the lightweight alloy sump guard protects the underside from rocks and debris, a key part of the XC’s rugged capability.

The high-level front fender & flyscreen is painted to match the body color of the bike, the front fender and flyscreen provide protection for the rider in tough conditions.

A cockpit-mounted USB-C socket provides for built-in charging for phones or other devices, ideal for commuting or exploring further off the grid.

Finishes
The TR-Series engine features black powder coated engine casing paired with bright machined cylinder head fins and metallized badging, exhibiting just a few hallmarks of Triumph’s famous attention to detail.

Colours are Racing Yellow, Vanilla White, and Storm Grey - each paired with matching flyscreen, high-level front mudguard and premium detailing.
