In limited numbers only, the SFV650AZ offers all the benefits of the popular naked middleweight with a retro inspired paint scheme. Taking inspiration from the 1970s Suzuki RG500 Grand Prix racer, the iconic red, black and yellow colours give this model an added level of style and coolness which is complemented further by the special belly-pan

The trellis frame, lean and mean styling and the superb V-twin engine all add up to a unique motorcycling experience. The engine, and the way in which it delivers the power is at the heart of this radical and exciting design.

The free spinning, 90° V-twin double overhead camshaft twin cylinder engine produces maximum power at 8, 400rpm along with masses of torque through the rev range. With power right off the bottom and stacks of punch that encourage early upshifting , the exhilarating V-twin character of the SFV650AZ craves the bends and twisties .

The slim engine is slotted into a gorgeous lightweight frame to make a perfectly balanced rider friendly middleweight. It's light, crisp feel and sharp lines along with inherent stability and agility at any speed appeals to both highly experienced and novice riders alike, making it a machine for all to aspire to and for 2012 the SFV650AZ comes with ABS as standard.

Special Edition SFV650 Launched

Suzuki has announced a limited run of its SFV650 Gladius, with a retro inspired paint scheme that gives the popular naked middleweight a unique and retro Grand Prix look.

Inspired by the RG500 Grand Prix racer of the late 1970s, the special edition colours are available for a limited time and only from authorised Suzuki dealers.

The SFV650 offers the same great middleweight performance and handling, but with added style and coolness thanks to the iconic red, black and yellow paint scheme.

Suzuki GB’s General Manager, Paul de Lusignan said, “For the very first time we included our own Facebook community in the decision to bring this special edition to market.

“With its flowing lines the SFV lends itself perfectly to a retro scheme, and proved to be a popular choice. The recommended retail price is just £300 more than the standard model at £6,399, including a special belly-pan too, but will only be available to order for a limited time via authorised dealers.

“So, If you’re keen we suggest you act fast.”
