From a press release issued by Suzuki Motor:

The modern retro machine, which is built on Suzuki’s award-winning 800cc platform and wraps that modern day performance in bodywork that draws inspiration from the GS1000S, will be available in a brace of colours, with the new red addition joining the Glass Sparkle Black variant.

The new Candy Daring Red option sees the nose cone, which bears more than a passing resemblance to the 1979 GS1000S, finished in the deep, rich red, along with the fuel tank and seat unit. The cowling and the fuel tank are adorned with gold and black striped decals, while the model name decal on the seat unit uses the same colours.

The gold is also present in the wheels, with the radiator shrouds, mudguard, and lower cowling all finished in black.

Underneath its retro aesthetic is a torque-laded parallel twin engine and an electronics package that includes a colour TFT screen, selectable power modes and traction control settings, and a bi-directional quickshifter.
