In the Custom series, MOTO GUZZI has always been gratified by its own
enthusiastic customers.
Amongst the various displacement models, a new 350cc model is now listed: the
NEVADA.
The MOTO GUZZI engineers have chosen for this bike a steel tubular duplex cradle
removeable type, numbering among many advantages its easy disassembly of the
engine.
Obviously, the engine is the classical 90 degree V-twin, 346,2 cc, with "Nigusil"
cylinder lining (MOTO GUZZI patent) with Motoplat double pick-up electronic
ignition and independent circuits allowing individual spark-advance for each
cylinder.
Complete with two Dell'Orto carburettors PHBH 28 B and 10,6 to 1 compression
ratio, this engine develops 30 HP at 8200 r.p.m..
Also the transmission reflects classical MOTO GUZZI style: by shaft with
universal joint.
The same goes for the suspensions with a front hydropneumatic telescopic fork
with pressure equalizer and two rear Bitubo adjustable dampers with double
spring.
The wire wheels fit 100/90-18 front tyres and 130/90-16 rear tyres.
Instrument panel is oriented in such a way as to make speedometer, rev-counter
and the warning lights visible to the rider.
The classical Custom MOTO GUZZI line is distinguished by the tear drop fuel
tank, the higher handlebar, the big seat and the flaring rear fender, which is
also of use for the plate holder mounting.
It is not so easy to define the customers for whom this motorcycle is suitable.
Its versatility allows it to be considered the everytime motorcycle, amusing but
handy, fast but quiet.
The 350 NEVADA is therefore the correct bike for diverse s. customers and for a
free-and-easy movement in the chaotic 1 town traffic.
