Kawasaki KLR600 vs Suzuki DR600 1985

.

The Kawasaki KLR600 is a dual-sport motorcycle intended for use on both paved and unpaved roads. It has been a long-standing model in Kawasaki's lineup, having been introduced in 1984 and remaining almost unchanged through to 1990.

Although no longer produced for years, it is still very sought after by those who want a medium between road and off-road, this because its weight, greatly reduced for a 600 cm³ enduro motorcycle with electric and thermal cooled by forced liquid, is around on the 140 kg dry, and with a few modifications it can reach less than 130 kg. In addition, with specific adjustment kits on the carburetor, it is possible to obtain superior performances compared to modern vehicles of the same displacement. Cycling not the best with rear drum brakes and front disc: very scarce. Since 1987 , with the creation of the 650 model, this displacement was no longer produced for USA.
