From Harley-Davidson press release:

The 2026 Super Glide picks up where a generation of custom riders left off. White Onyx Pearl paint and vintage tank graphics pull straight from the original 1971 FX playbook, while tons of chrome, tubeless laced wheels, mini-apes, mid-controls, and a five-gallon tank give this modern take on the classic California cruiser the same custom-minded spirit that changed the motorcycle industry 55 years ago.

The 2026 Super Glide takes the spirit that started the factory custom movement and lets it loose for a whole new generation of riders. Only 2,500 made for this year, and each one comes serialized.
The 2026 Super Glide takes the spirit that started the factory custom movement and lets it loose for a whole new generation of riders. Only 2,500 made for this year, and each one comes serialized.

Key Features
The 2026 Super Glide model joins the portfolio of Harley-Davidson Cruiser motorcycles based on the Harley-Davidson Softail chassis. The new Super Glide motorcycle offers timeless style – bright laced wheels, a five-gallon teardrop fuel tank topped with a chrome console, and a chrome mini ape handlebar that places the rider in a “fists in the wind” posture. Powertrain trim and covers, the air cleaner cover, exhaust, side covers, rear fender struts, signals and headlamp are finished in brilliant chrome. The fuel tank and fenders are finished in White Onyx Pearl paint topped with red and blue fender striping and graphics inspired by the 1971 Super Glide model. Serialization is presented on the fuel tank console.

The Super Glide model is powered by a Milwaukee-Eight 117 Classic V-Twin engine tuned to emphasize ease in rideability with a flat torque curve to deliver satisfying street performance. The single muffler and classic round air cleaner produce the distinctive Harley-Davidson sound quality.

The Harley-Davidson Softail chassis is optimized to reduce weight without sacrificing stiffness. The rear suspension is hidden below the seat to maintain the classic look of a vintage hardtail frame while offering a thoroughly modern ride. Dual-bending valve 49 mm forks keep the front wheel in contact with the road surface for confident handling. A rear monoshock with under-seat hydraulic pre-load adjustment allows the rider to maintain optimal suspension performance for the prevailing load and road conditions. Rear suspension travel is 3.4 inches. Confident braking performance is provided by a single front disc brake with 300mm rotor and single rear brake with 292mm rotor. Tubeless laced wheels with bright aluminum hubs and chrome cast aluminum rims enable Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPMS).

Dunlop Harley-Davidson Series tires (Front 100/90B19, Rear 150/80B16) enhance ride and handling performance.

Standard technology includes Rider Safety Enhancements by Harley-Davidson designed to enhance rider confidence during unexpected situations or adverse road conditions. The Super Glide model is equipped with following elements of Rider Safety Enhancements by Harley-Davidson:
- Straight Line/Cornering Antilock Braking System (ABS/C-ABS)
- Straight Line/Cornering Traction Control System (TCS/C-TCS)
- Straight Line/Cornering Drag Torque Slip Control (DSCS/C-DSCS)
- Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPMS)

Selectable ride modes electronically control the performance characteristics of the motorcycle and the level of technology intervention. The rider may use the hand control Mode button to change the active ride mode while riding the motorcycle or when stopped. A unique icon for each mode appears on the instrument display when that mode has been selected. The Super Glide model is equipped with the following Ride Modes:
- Road Mode: Intended for daily use, Road Mode delivers balanced performance.
- Sport Mode: Classic Sport Mode features a flat and smooth torque curve with greater low- and high-speed torque that pulls hard in all gears and any speed, making it comfortable, forgiving, and easy to ride for days on end.
- Rain Mode: This mode is designed to give the rider greater confidence when riding in the rain or when traction is otherwise limited.
- All-LED lighting – a 5.75-inch headlamp with signature ring and combination stop/tail/turn rear lighting – is designed to deliver style, outstanding lighting performance, and conspicuity to other motorists. The five-inch diameter console-mounted instrument presents an analog speedometer display above a multi-function LCD digital display. The rider can use the Trip hand control button to scroll through available information in the LCD display. A USB-C charging port is located at the front-left side of the motorcycle.

2-Into-1 Exhaust
Built around efficient exhaust flow and smooth power delivery, the 2-into-1 exhaust helps the Super Glide feel responsive and easy to ride without sacrificing the low, familiar bark of a Milwaukee-Eight V-Twin motor.

Rear Monoshock With Hydraulic Preload Adjustment
A hidden rear monoshock with hydraulic preload adjustment lets you fine-tune suspension feel for changing loads and riding conditions without disrupting the clean custom profile. Comfort, quality, and classic style all live in the same place.

49 mm Front Suspension
The original FX shook things up with a leaner, lighter front-end feel borrowed from the Ironhead Sportster™ world of the ‘60s. On the 2026 Super Glide, dual-bending valve 49 mm forks bring a more planted and confident ride while keeping the same stripped-down custom spirit intact.

Selectable Ride Modes + Rider Safety Enhancements
Selectable ride modes and Rider Safety Enhancements give the Super Glide a more adaptable feel without changing what makes the bike enjoyable to ride in the first place. Road, Sport, and Rain modes adjust throttle response and traction intervention for changing roads and weather, while Cornering ABS, traction control, drag-torque slip control, and Tire Pressure Monitoring help keep the ride feeling smooth, steady, and predictable when conditions get less than ideal. It’s modern technology built to support the experience, not interrupt it.

Console-Mounted Instrumentation
A classic tank-mounted analog speedo sits above a multifunction LCD display that keeps ride information simple, clear, and easy to read from the saddle. It delivers modern functionality without losing the stripped-down feel and timeless style that define the Super Glide.

Adjustable Brake Lever
The adjustable front brake lever lets riders fine-tune reach and feel to better match hand size and riding preference. Easy adjustability helps riders dial in a more natural feel from the saddle.
