In 1955 the 65TL (Turismo Sport) was launched.  It was similar to the earlier 65 Sport but in the T and TL running gear.

The gas tank was reshaped, there was a dual seat and the low handlebars were complemented by a small screen.

This was an extremely successful model, coinciding with Ducati's success in the Motogiro d'Italia and was the best selling motorcycle in Italy during 1955
