The M55 was the final Cucciolo to be released in 1954.
Whilst still boasting the same 48 cc engine it had an uprated frame with leading link forks - the 55 E had a rear suspension whilst the 55R was rigid.
By 1957 the Cucciolo's produciton came to an end but with more than 400 000 procuded over time.
