"To us, the Freedom Edition represents our unwavering commitment to our heritage, our fans, and the freedom that comes with riding a Buell."



The Buell Hammerhead 1190 boasts 185 horsepower, weighs 419 lbs., and delivers 102 foot-lbs. of torque.

The first 40 Freedom Edition bikes will also feature a special four-year warranty and the underside of the bodywork will be autographed by the Buell factory family - Team Buell.

"Our fans have been requesting a red, white, and blue color scheme for a long, long time. We listened. And we're proud to deliver a design that truly reflects the fiercely independent spirit shared by both Buell and this great country."

Its carbon fiber bodywork, wrapped in red, white, and blue all around, withy star graphics into the blue paint. Also part of the special edition is a set of new pillion and rider seat covers. These feature contrast red stitching and a red company logo to complement the paint job.



So you get a 1,190cc, liquid-cooled, V-twin engine that produces 185 horsepower (at 10,600 RPM) and 101.6 pound-feet (at 8,200 RPM). The power reaches the wheel via a six-speed transmission, equipped with a slipper clutch. Lot'sof power which complimented by the bike’s low 419-pound dry weight.

Buell has built the sports bike around an aluminum chassis and suspended it on Showa suspension (Big Piston upside-down forks and monoshock). The wheels are 17-inch aluminum units that house Buell’s iconic 386cc perimeter disc and eight-piston caliper up top. The rear disc is normal with a 220 mm diameter, plus a two-piston Hayes caliper.
