FEATURES:

A new two-section headlamp adds an element of sportiness to the overall design while increasing light output by 10 percent. The lamp uses clear glass and is separated into high-beam (top) and low-beam (bottom) units with the parking light integrated into the lower section.

Completely redesigned, the cockpit now includes the new Info-Flat-Screen. Smartly designed to provide a wide range of travel information, the new instrument panel shows total distance, coolant and air temperature, gear selection, on-board computer functions, radio information, fuel level and time on one easy-to-read facing.

The wire harness and mounting bracket for the BMW Navigator is now available as a factory installed option.

A completely redesigned seat provides a more ergonomically correct seated position even for riders of small stature.

The newly designed electro-hydraulic center stand allows the rider to raise the bike hydraulically with the push of a button. Please note, it is recommended that the center stand only be operated with the rider in the seated position.

The 2005 model features chromed rider’s and passenger’s footrests, footrest supports, mirror housings, windshield holder caps and front and rear rubbing strip trim.

In addition to BMW’s signature Paralever and Telelever suspension systems, the new K 1200 LT features WAD travel dependent damping similar to that of the R 1150 GS. Compression-phase damping in this suspension strut increases at a progressive rate offering enhanced riding comfort, particularly two-up.
