The DB8 is Bimota's hyper sports machine. A bike born to enchance every rider's own style. Agile, compact and powerful, it just stands out.

The DB8 was born to face all roads and bends, the natural hunting ground for every sportive rider.

It offers an ergonomic riding position perfect for high speed riding.

Light in changing directions combined with an incredible power to weight ratio, thanks to the work of Bimota engineer, who also optimized the twin cylinder engine supply.

It was presented in two versions: two-seater and SP, where the bike' sportive nature is enhanced by the Brembo brake system which gives a better performance and a lighter weight thanks to the use of carbon.

Features and Benefits

Look
Clean and strong lines, in some way echoing the classic style of the DB7.

A mix between elegance and sportsmanship where the white colouring of the two-seater and white/red of the SP, enhance the stretched lines and the compactness of the machine.

Most noticeable are the carbon details and the quality of swing arm materials and design, leaving the rear end naked so it can be admired fully.

Technology

Evolution of the DB7 project, the DB8 is boost by a 90° L twin cylinder engine 1198 cc able to reach a max power of 170hp/9750rpm managed by an ignition system developed by Bimota.

It's equipped with a tubular trellis frame involving wider tubes to provide improved stiffness.

The swing arm is directly enclosed in the engine and was made by the same technology of the frame. This helps for more weight control and improved aesthetics. Fully-adjustable in preload, compression and rebound mono shock.

The Db8 is set with a 43mm fully- adjustable fork, Brembo brakes while the SP version is equipped with a monobloc caliper.

Aluminium forged wheels from the racing stable.

On the SP the under tray is weight bearing, made in carbon while in the two-seater version an aluminium sub frame to sustain the passenger's weight.
