If you want to enter in the world of motards and you are looking for a less aggressive motorcycle, then you should take a closer look at the Aprilia SX 50. This compact model is fitted with the latest technologies developed by the Italian manufacturer and promises to deliver first class performances in terms of ride and handling.

The Aprilia SX 50 is powered by a 49,9 cc, single-cylinder, two stroke, liquid cooled engine which is kept under control by a six speed transmission.

The motorcycle’s backbone is represented by a light, but stiff perimeter frame made of high strength steel. The frame is combined with a Marzocchi tele-hydraulic fork (195 mm wheel travel) and a steel swingarm with an advanced hydraulic shock absorber.

The SX 50 is dedicated to the very young who wish to join the world of Aprilia motards, made of technology, design and benchmark performance. Like the 125, also the SX 50 stands out for the technical content of a higher cylinder capacity bike, for the characteristics clearly inspired by the SXV series, the twin cylinder motard engine that has left an important mark in the history of world motorcycling and, finally, for the performance provided by its two-stroke engine.

The SX 50 is an ultra-sports motard, equipped with a latest generation engine and chassis solutions which dwarf even higher cylinder capacity bikes.

The perimeter frame is made of high strength steel to better absorb the stresses of sports riding, a combination of strength and lightness.

The mighty Marzocchi tele-hydraulic fork provides a travel of 195 mm, more than enough to absorb even the hardest knocks, as the rear wheel with a considerable travel of 180 mm. The high-strength steel swingarm moves an advanced hydraulic shock absorber.

The single-cylinder, two-stroke, liquid cooled engine features reed valve intake and, thanks to use of the latest technology, provides extremely high performance for the category with a weight of only 15 kg. The six-speed gearbox fully exploits the performance of an engine of the highest level.

The ultra-compact digital instrumentation features an innovative design and lets you keep track of the most important information. The exhaust is in stainless steel and the twin headlights provide a further touch of personality but above all better visibility at night. The long and almost flat saddle extends to cover the compact tank providing significant freedom of movement in sports riding.
