It’s always Primavera
The first Vespa Primavera appeared amid the creative, colourful atmosphere of the 1960s, quickly becoming one of the decade’s icons – offering two wheels and plenty of style to a generation that was changing the world.

Compact size, youthful, light, and fresh lines, combined with lively performance and a joyful ease of riding: Vespa Primavera came as a breath of fresh air in a world in transformation. Its global success has made it one of the most beloved models in Vespa’s history.

Today, the new Vespa Primavera and Vespa Sprint S – heirs to that legacy – embody Vespa’s youthful, urban spirit. Designed to combine the elegance of exclusive design with everyday practicality, they offer exceptional comfort and feature one of Vespa’s hallmark innovations: the iconic all-steel body. Created using cutting-edge technology, Vespa Primavera and Vespa Sprint S continue to develop while maintaining the timeless lines of an Italian-made masterpiece.

Both models introduce major functional and aesthetic updates for 2026.

New style, unmistakably Vespa
The most notable innovation lies in the new 12-inch wheels, featuring an elegant five-split-spoke design that highlights the dynamic character of Vespa’s most urban models while preserving their signature elegance in such a distinctive detail.

A new five-slat grille on the left-hand side panel is exclusive to the Vespa Sprint S – an eye-catching element that refreshes its silhouette and recalls the style of the sportiest Vespas in history.
The front mudguard crest on the Vespa Primavera has also been redesigned and refined, the result of meticulous research into form and detail – a level of craftsmanship unmatched in the motorcycle and scooter world.

All versions again feature the retractable bag hook beneath the handlebar, perfect for carrying a handbag or small item of luggage and enhancing practicality in everyday urban use.
A subtle design refinement makes the central ‘tie’ on the leg shield – always one of Vespa’s signature elements – even sleeker, while the seat, in its various trims, has been updated with new materials harmonised to match the bodywork finishes. While the Primavera expresses elegance and timeless style through refined materials, the Sprint S conveys sportiness and energy through contemporary, performance-inspired finishes.

Greater safety: dual disc brakes
A 220 mm steel disc with twin-piston calliper has replaced the traditional rear drum brake. Along with the front disc brake and its ABS control system, the new setup provides stronger, safer braking performance.

Keyless system
All versions of the Vespa Primavera and Vespa Sprint S above 50 cc now feature a keyless system, enabling the rider to start the motor without inserting a key. A selector has replaced the traditional ignition switch on the inner leg shield: simply turn it to the ON position to activate the system. Starting the motor remains a familiar process, using the button on the right-hand handlebar control block. The key fob also unlocks the seat and operates the remote recognition function, which flashes all the turn indicators – a useful feature in crowded parking areas.

New dashboard: classic lines meet Full LCD technology
A completely new dashboard makes its debut, skilfully combining Vespa’s classic instrument design with full LCD technology. Both the Vespa Primavera and Vespa Sprint S feature the most advanced technology while maintaining the elegance and style that have always characterised the Vespa handlebar. All functions are presented digitally. Along with trip and vehicle information, the Vespa MIA multimedia platform (standard on the Primavera Tech and available as an accessory on other models) connects the scooter to a smartphone, allowing the dashboard to display and manage calls, messages, music playlists, and turn-by-turn navigation.

The new, elegantly styled instrument cluster is also customised for the two versions of the small-body Vespa: more traditional, with white graphics on a black background for the Primavera, and sportier, with red accents for the Sprint S. Both feature dual day/night display modes.

The Vespa Primavera Tech, across all its trims, keeps the 5-inch full-colour TFT display, one of the most advanced dashboards currently available in the segment.

Two families
Vespa Primavera and Vespa Sprint S are available with both combustion and electric powertrains. The petrol models are equipped with advanced 4-stroke, 3-valve engines featuring electronic fuel injection, available in 50, 125, and 150 cc displacements.

True to Vespa’s eco-conscious ethos, the new ‘small body’ Vespa range also features electric propulsion: the Moped version (type-approved as a moped, with a maximum speed of 45 km/h) and the Motorcycle version, available in the Vespa Primavera Tech trim. All Moped versions come with removable batteries, making recharging easy and convenient.

A world of colour
Vespa’s carefree, colourful world reflects the personalities of its riders. This is why the new Vespa Primavera and Vespa Sprint S build on Vespa’s rich colour heritage, expanding it with an even fresher, more contemporary palette.

Vespa Primavera is available in Bianco Innocente, Nero Convinto, Verde Amabile, and Blu Energico, as well as the new Beige Avvolgente (for petrol versions only), all complemented by elegant chrome finishes. Primavera is also offered in the ‘S’ trim, which features fashionable colour options and exclusive seat upholstery, trim, and graphics: Bianco Innocente and the new Giallo Disinvolto.

Vespa Sprint S is available in five colours: Bianco Innocente, Rosso Coraggioso, and Blu Eclettico (for petrol models only), along with Nero Convinto matte and the new Verde Ribelle, offered for both petrol and electric versions. Eye-catching graphics and striking black details amplify each colour scheme, whether matte, such as the signature leg-shield ‘tie’, or glossy, like the wheel rims.

Vespa Primavera Tech embodies Vespa’s most advanced, technology-driven spirit and is available in Blu Energico Opaco and Grigio Ottimista Opaco.

Extensive range of accessories
In keeping with Vespa tradition, the new Vespa Primavera and Vespa Sprint S come with a wide range of accessories designed to improve comfort and enable complete personalisation.
Among the many accessories available – including the top box, windscreen, flyscreen, and front and rear luggage racks – the new protection bars for the front, rear, and mudguard stand out for their revamped, sleeker appearance. One of Vespa's most distinctive accessories, they add an elegant finishing touch while safeguarding the bodywork.
