This BMW R1200GS Rally by Roland Sands Design gives a
throwback to the rally machines we saw in the 1980s competing in
the Dakar Rally, particularly those made by HPN-Motorradtechnik,
which were based off the BMW R80 G/S.
The bike is pretty spot on to the racing machines from 40 years ago. Dunlop
tires replace the Michelins from the Dakar bike, and the headlight incorporates
dual LED projector lamps. There is also a special piece of luggage on the tail
section.
