BMW R 1200 "Hubert" & "Gaston" Concept by Oberdan Bezzi

BMW GS "Queen" of the Dakar!, this is "Hubert" Auriol replica, who won, for the BMW, the 1981 and 1983 Dakar editions and had a second place ( just behind Rahier) in 1984.

This Concept named Hubert just as well as the "Gaston" (below), will be part of one of the two "lots" of BMW R 1200 GS ultra special that would be to put in production for a limited number of customers.

Built in a unique department ... practically handmade, it will be equipped with a lot of special pieces that will make of it a real off-road "rocket".

For most of the Beemers it will remain a dream ... a beautiful dream!

his is "Gaston" replica, clearly to pay homage to the legendary Gaston Rahier for BMW won the Paris-Dakar in 1984 and 1985 aboard the R 80 GS.
