ZXMoto 820X
The ZXMoto 820X (also called 820X ADV) is the production adventure motorcycle from Chinese brand ZXMoto, founded by engineer Zhang Xue (formerly of Kove). Evolving from the 820 ADV concept shown at EICMA 2025, the 2026 model features refined styling, confirmed homologation specs, and is scheduled for its official Chinese debut at the Chongqing International Motorcycle Expo on September 19, 2026. It targets the mid-capacity ADV segment with a rare inline-three engine and a strong electronics package at a competitive price.
Engine and performance It pairs with a 6-speed transmission. Higher-spec versions are expected to include a bidirectional quickshifter and electronic clutch (e-clutch) that allows clutchless starts and shifts with automatic throttle blipping. Claimed top speed in approval documents reaches about 220 km/h (137 mph).
Chassis, dimensions, and handling Suspension consists of fully adjustable upside-down forks and a multi-adjustable rear monoshock; higher trims add KYB electronically adjustable suspension. Braking uses radial-mount four-piston calipers on dual front discs (often noted as Taisko units) with ABS, including cornering functionality via a six-axis IMU. Seat height is typically listed near 830 mm, with reports of multiple options (around 825–910 mm) to suit different riders.
