Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP JM 30th Anniversary
In the world of road racing, few pairings are as iconic as John McGuinness MBE and the Honda Fireblade. The “Morecambe Missile” has been a constant presence at the Isle of Man TT since his debut in 1996, amassing 23 victories and becoming one of the event’s most beloved figures. In 2026, Honda UK marked three full decades of that remarkable career with a highly exclusive limited-edition motorcycle: the John McGuinness 30th Anniversary Replica CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP. Unveiled at the John McGuinness MBE exhibition in the Classic TT paddock on 25 August 2026, this road-legal machine is a faithful visual recreation of the special-liveried Superbike McGuinness raced at that year’s Isle of Man TT. Just 15 examples are being produced worldwide, making it one of the rarest Fireblades ever offered.
A Livery That Looks Back to the Beginning
What’s Underneath: The 2026 Fireblade SP Platform Honda has added a suite of Genuine Accessories and performance
parts to enhance the race-replica character: A Gee-Tech rear paddock stand carrying the 30th Anniversary logo and a custom John McGuinness MBE garage mat are also included.
The Ownership Experience: More Than a Motorcycle The highlight for many will be the optional opportunity to put the first 37¾ miles on the odometer by following McGuinness around a full lap of the TT Mountain Course. It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience: riding a brand-new McGuinness replica Fireblade on the very roads that defined his career, guided by the man himself.
A Fitting Tribute For the 15 lucky owners, this is not just a high-performance
superbike. It is a tangible piece of TT history, a celebration of three decades
of one of road racing’s true greats, and the chance to share a few unforgettable
miles with the legend himself.
