Honda CRF450L Rally Concept

.

This Honda CRF450L Rally concept was shown at the 2018 EICMA motorcycle show in Milan, where manufacturers will often show concepts to test public reaction.

The concept comes directly from Honda R&D in Japan and was created using a street legal CRF450L, adding a split-fuel tank with a 20 litres (5.28 gal) capacity, a downswept pipe, high-end electronics and carbon fiber components.

The concept also comes with a Termignoni rally-style exhaust, carbon-fibre skid plate, a clear windshield, Renthal bars, a more street-friendly suspension and a rear mounted toolbox, where the Dakar Rally version has a fuel cell.

There is a 5 inch TFT dislay screen in the navigation tower, which probably can be configured to interact with a GPS system, instead of a roadbook used by the Dakar version.
