Yamaha Ténéré 700 by Deus Ex-Machina

.

The “Deus Teneré” built on a 2021 Yamaha Ténéré 700 has the ambitious objective to translate the early ‘80s Dakar bikes concept into dynamic and flowing lines with accent on head faring design and large fuel tank.

The bike has been presented during the “prohibited” Wheels & Waves Swank Rally in Magescq, France, and ridden by  fourth time Le Touquet winner, Jean-Claude Moussé, who did magic on the beast.

Firstly the bike was fully equiped with a rally kit including top protection radiator, chain guide and protection, Yamaha motor guard and tool box, and a set of Acerbis hand guards.

The suspension has been tuned for a real rally, at the front 30mm Andreani front suspension were fitted and a top-dollar Öhlins unit keeping things tidy at the rear.

And when it comes to the aesthetics, Deus has given the bike a dramatic redesign, ditching the bulky ADV faring and tail in favor of a small flyscreen, a tank cover, and an integrated seat-fender all desined in one piece in colaboration with Camal Studio.

The result has been a full body in fiberglass which may become a kit on request.

Metzeler Karoo Extreme tires perfectly fitted the Swank W&W race with a mix of soft sand and motocross trails. The exhaust has been replaced with a unique custom made SC project in titanium; it is significantly lighter than the original which bring a soft racing sound.
