The Hyde Harrier, is a collaboration between two
major names in British motorcycle, Harris Performance, a very famous studio in
competition for the construction of bicycle frames and superfine, and Norman
Hyde, English engineer who helped in the planning and development tricilindrici
series of Triumph Trident 750 cc of the early '70s, in the former headquarters
of Triumph Meriden.
Their union gave birth in the '70s to a very
special bike, characterized by a peppery tricilindrico English prepared by
Norman and cycling by Lester and Steve Harris. Below you can watch it in all its
glory:
The figures that have worked on the tricilindrica
are the same that created the twin object of the post, named Jubilee,
celebrating 21 years of membership between Hyde and Harris while the fiftieth
anniversary of the Triumph Bonneville.
The twin engine which equips this cafe racer is known twin of 865 cc of the new
series of Bonnie, revised in some details such as the beautiful conical outlet
beautifully finished. In addition to the completely revised chassis, the other
amazing details notable in the new superstructure and reside in the new tank,
the fork and Ohlins shock absorbers in the two, in circles Dymag, and radially
mounted calipers AP signed.
I wanted to point out that the new swingarm
features a larger rear wheel and also the network of pipes of the new frame
element that characterizes the entire movement.
The particularity of this project lies in its ability to buy the kit to
transform your twin series Bonneville Harrier in a Hyde ... the results are
truly exceptional!
