Suzuki DR 650  by Diamond Atelier

.

Custom motorcycle garage Diamond Atelier are all about creating next generation bikes, specifically Cafe Racers that don’t follow the same old trends. This Suzuki DR650 which was re-designed from ground up, including the chassis. With the DR650 being a full-on dirt bike in standard form, no expense was spared in tearing down bits of plastic and beginning from scratch.

After producing a modified main frame and a rear frame that was hand built, the team then went onto a full custom suspension setup, before setting the bike on a rare set of 17 inch racing wheels wrapped around Performance Metzeler Racetec RR tyres.

The engine was then rebuilt (from ground up of course) and the carbs were rejetted with a K&N filter and Supertrapp muffler added. New headers were produced by the Diamond team within their workshop.

With the basis sorted it was time for details, and a camo livery with bright blue accents was applied with the addition of an LED speedo in the cowl, LED tail lights and a hand built vintage ’70s gas tank. This street ready cafe racer puts out 50 HP from the newly built engine.
