Royal Rally 400 by Fuel Motorcycles

.

This Royal Rally 400 is based on a Dakar inspired Royal Enfield Himalayan EFI (2018) to participate in the 2019 Scram Africa rally, and was customized by Karles Vives founder of motorcycle clothing retailer Fuel Bespoke Motorcycles, based in Barcelona Spain.

The Himalayan is powered by a single-cylinder, 4 stroke, air-cooled, SOHC, fuel Injection 411cc engine producing 24.5 horsepower and 23 ft-lb of torque.  A Powertronic ECU unit was installed, to give more power and improve responsiveness, refinement, and fuel-efficiency.  The ABS System has an option of switching on or off, depending on road conditions, and a modified Suzuki RM-Z450 exhaust was fitted.

The bike has been slightly modified by keeping most of the original parts, and most changes were done to the lines and proportions to get a more compact, aggressive and classic look.

The front light was replaced with a squared vintage enduro mask, and all the protections around the tank were removed.   The standard dual seat has been replaced for a solo seat.

In place of the rear seat, a removable custom build grille was mounted to carry a small bag.  One of the tank protectors from the Himalayan was re-fitted on the left side of the tank to create extra luggage space.

Other changes like some protectors, strong handlebar, USB charge, and a unique speedometer makes the bike simple and functional.
