Individuality always plays a significant role in our motorcycle conversions.
Therefore, this approach runs like a red thread through the modification of the
new BMW R1250RT, whose particular strength, as the RT family's youngest scion,
is clearly the renewed and variably valve-controlled boxer engine.
The individual character is already expressed by the V-Stream windshield which
ensures excellent aerodynamics and also a minimal noise level, which should not
be underestimated on long trips. Of course, a navigation device and a matching
GPS mount, which always keeps the digital route planner optimally in the field
of view, are indispensable for a long-distance tourer. Instead of the unsightly
rubber stoppers, we rely on our aluminum covers concerning the fork tube cover
and in this way provide, without a doubt, a visual specificity.
Our red and black brake and clutch
levers constitute easy handling in conjunction with sporty design. The anodized
bar end weights are another special item on our BMW R1250RT. Gone are the days
when you had to be annoyed about scratches on the fork bridge, because with our
dash pad in carbon look this area of the R1250RT will be effectively protected.
With the carbon tank pads, we also supply a stylish and practical solution for
another sensitive area, the tank, with regard to paint protection. An essential
part for our touring motorbike is the tank bag with its specific mounting, which
has a capacity of 25 litres. In order to be able to drive comfortably, it is
particularly important to have the right seat, which is why we altered it to get
a much more relaxed sitting position. The Givi top case can be seen as an ideal
complement to the tank bag with a storage capacity of 56 litres.
To keep dirt away from the radiator lamellas, a cooler protection was attached.
A special safety advantage is obtained with the black oil filler plug as it can
only be opened by means of a lateral hole and with the aid of an Allen key or
Torx key that can be found in the tool kit of the motorcycle. A dirty engine
housing or a stone chip damage is a thing of the past with the fender extender.
The side stand foot enlargement assures a secure stand of the BMW R1250RT.
In order not to glide off when switching, we installed our shift lever extension
with o-rings. Just like the swing arm pivot covers over the footpegs, also the
frame cover above the swing arm and the axle pivot cover at the cardan hide the
unsightly holes in the frame of the R1250RT. With our rear wheel centre cover
you kill two birds with one stone: On the one hand it provides a visual
improvement, on the other hand, the cooling of the cardan is favoured by the
holes it contains.
Ultimately, our conversion is refined by the decor sticker set and the
colour-matched universal rim stripes. These decoration elements give even more
specificity to our motorcycle. Our BMW R1250RT gains attention through the
installed twin tone horn Wolo Bad Boy.
