BMW R1200R by Hornig Scrambler

.

Hornig customized a 2006 BMW R1200R scrambler.  The overhaul of the doner bike took 45 hours.

The cognac-coloured leather seat was modified into a single seater.  The rear frame was trimmed, and the rear lights and indicators were customised.  They also added  a specially made LED headlight and mini indicators.  The front mudguard was slimmed down and the whole back end has been raised up using an adjustable paralever strut, revealing a rear hugger mudguard and custom number plate bracket.

Due to the modified frame, a special bracket was made to fit the new short GPR exhaust.  The manifold has been sprayed black to match the matte black finish on the tank which also sports the silver Hornig logo.

Some extra parts were fitted like wooden grips, hang-down mirrors, numerous scratch plates and crash bobbins.
Finally a set of knobbly tyres from Continental complete the scrambler.
