The 1978 XL1000 was an anniversary model and was trimmed
accordingly. Gold trim, leather sad< and gleaming black p£ help the
Anniversary E of the 1978 XLH stand from a crowd. Seventy-five years of uninterrupted production
were marked in 1978, and several birthday editions were sold to commemorate
the anniversary. Of these bikes, the XL1000 was trimmed with gold and had a
saddle upholstered in leather. |
