Calling the Road Glide® model just another touring bike is
like calling Mount Rushmore just another piece of rock. One look at the
profile tells you this one’s different. Beginning up front with the
frame-mounted shark-nose fairing with cockpit-style instrumentation, twin
headlights and a swept-back windshield. The styling is aerodynamic—there’s
nothing sleeker on the road. Moving back, there are broad-stripe graphics, a
flowing seat, angled bags and slash-cut mufflers. It all gives new meaning
to the word “streamlined.” You also get cruise control and
40-watts-per-channel, 4-speaker AM/FM/CD sound. But the best tunes come from
the silver and chrome Twin Cam 88® powertrain. Twist the throttle and you’ll
see there’s no other touring bike—and no other feeling—like this on earth.
