The abbreviation "ES" stands for "Edizione
Speciale". This was a limited edition of the Tesi 1D. It was put into
production to commemorate the 20th year of the founding of Bimota. Only 50
of these bikes were built. New features included rear view mirrors, the
bridging connections between screen and fuel tank. The trapezoidal
headlight, air intakes, wheels were now the modular Akront used on the
Furano and YB10 Biposto. The new fork was now machined not cast as previous.
