With the introduction of the all new CTX200 Bushlander, Honda has re-set the benchmark for Agricultural motorcycle standards. Designed from the ground up to suit the specific needs of the modern day Australian farmer, the CTX200 Bushlander is loaded with practical features, and Honda's proven durability and reliability ensure that it will more than earn it's keep on your farm.

The new CTX200 combines the heritage and features of its predecessor, the CT200, and the technology and bullet-proof reliability of Honda’s XR range, resulting in an Ag-bike that is an invaluable tool for any farmer.
Concept
In designing the Honda CTX200, the primary objective was to create a new generation Agricultural model that is easy to operate, comfortable to ride and designed specifically for Australian conditions. Through extensive market research Honda ascertained that Australian farmers desired a motorcycle that could handle the extremely diverse conditions and long distances that characterise Australian rural properties. This is why characteristics of the XR range of motorcycles such as reliability, strong engine performance, and good handling and suspension have become an integral part of the new CTX200.
Aspects of XR design are visible in features such as:
• Front hydraulic disc brake
• Large diameter front forks
• Pro-Link type rear suspension
• Long comfortable thickly padded seat
• XR style front mudguard
• Single cylinder engine with strongower and a wide torque range.

The new CTX200 also retains many of the user-friendly attributes of the original CT200 that made it so successful, while also incorporating features of the mighty XR range to increase it’s useability in a variety of applications. All of these design elements combine to make the CTX200 easy to operate and comfortable to ride so farmers can concentrate on the job at hand.
Engine

 • Single cylinder, air cooled, 4-stroke engine is compact and delivers a strong, broad spread of power and torque.
• Electric start provides effortless and reliable starting, with back up kick-start if required.
• Wide ratio 5-speed transmission is perfectly suited to the extremes of farm use. It can handle the slow walking pace of a dairy herd or comfortably travel at a higher transport speed for longer distances.
• Manual clutch with handlebar mounted lock enables the rider to dismount the motorcycle whilst it is still in gear.
• Automatic cam chain tensioner for low maintenance.
• CDI Ignition provides strong reliable spark with zero maintenance.
• Washable foam air filter element with steel cage is durable and most efficient at filtering air supplied to the engine.
• High-mount sealed airbox assists in keeping dust and water out to ensure the engine continues functioning in all conditions.

Chassis
• Large diameter front forks with long 158mm travel for controlled suspension action improve the ride and handling of the machine.
• XR inspired Pro-Link single shock rear suspension offers a controlled and comfortable ride so farmers can spend long hours in the saddle with minimal fatigue
• Sturdy steel swingarm is built to handle the roughest terrain.
• Front hydraulic disc brake with twin-piston caliper, provides safe reliable stopping power.
• Rear drum brake for dependable stopping.
• Durable metal fuel tank has a capacity of 8.5 liters (including 1.8 litre reserve) offering excellent fuel range.
• High quality Pirelli MT18 tyres for excellent durability, grip and handling in all conditions.
• Heavy-duty steel spoked wheels are built to handle the roughest conditions.
• Sturdy steel sub-frame provides strong support for the rear carry rack and mud guard section.
• Ground clearance of 238mm offers plenty of clearance for getting over logs or uneven ground.
• Rubber mounted handlebars reduce vibration and rider fatigue when encountering rough terrain.
Styling
The following elements have been incorporated into the CTX200’s styling:
• XR inspired graphics and styling
• Traditional Honda Red colour
• Rider focused ergonomics to minimise rider fatigue.

Every component of the CTX200 is designed to look as good as it performs.
Equipment
• Instrument cluster includes speedometer, odometer, trip meter and warning lights for; neutral, high beam and turn indicators.
• Steel lever guards help prevent brake and clutch levers from breaking in the event of a minor accident.
• With a dry weight of 127kg, the CTX200 is easy to handle in all conditions.
• Bright Quartz Halogen head-light, with high and low beam settings for safe riding at night or during low visibility days.
• Solid mounted steel footpegs offer excellent grip in all conditions.
• Tool box with plug spanner mounts onto rear subframe for convenience.
• Key ignition lock for added security.
• Large front mud guard with additional mud flap for extra protection.
• Rear mudguard with oversized rear mud flap for ultimate rider protection.
• Steel brush guards and bashplate for added foot and engine protection.
• “Big foot” side stand on each side of the motorcycle prevents stand from sinking into soft ground and allows for greater flexibility when parking motorcycle on sloping ground.
• Heavy duty rear carry rack with 6 tie-down points and up to 20kg carrying capacity allows the rider to carry light loads safely.
• Front rack with spring loaded clamp for carrying essential equipment up to 3kg.
• Wide comfortable seat for hours of travel in the saddle.
• Full electrical system with headlight, indicators, tail-light, brakelight and horn. This will enable Recreational or Agricultural registration in some states of Australia. (Please check with your local Roads and Traffic authority for regulations)
