It had an overwhelming take-off, already claims cult status and is seen as a benchmark model in its segment: the MZ 1000SF SuperFighter. Now the Zschopau motorcycle manufacturer goes one further with a small special edition. 25 units of the SF red will be produced – and none more.

Even the standard version of the MZ 1000SF with its extraordinary design, the meaty DOHC-inline-twin and the outstanding chassis proved its position in the Streetfighter market. With the SF red, the Saxony motorcycle manufacturer still tops this. Ferocious, but still dignified comes the limited edition with its exclusive accessories.

The matt-red painting of the fuel tank and front fairing of the SF red impresses with black pattern which is thanks to a lacquer with nano-technology on aceramic base, ,aking it extremely scratch resistant. Several aluminium parts such as engine mounts, foot rest holder, foot rests and handlebar are black anodised. Black exhaust pipes as well as red rings on black Lightcon TSW aluminium rims support the sporting aspirations that the chassis, thanks to the double-tube bridge frame of chrome-molybdenum steel, the Marzocchi upside-down telescopic fork and the Sachs suspension – both fully adjustable – more than satisfies.

As regards the engine, the customer may choose between the powerful DOHC-inline-twin of the MZ 1000S Sport with 86 kW (117 hp) or the heavy-on-torque engine of the MZ 1000 SF SuperFighter with 83 kW (113 hp).

If you decide to ride an MZ SF red, you can be assured to ride a very exclusive bike. This series is limited to 25 units only.
