The MV Agusta 750 Magni bored out to 840cc
and equipped with chain drive, a new engine cradle, and that simply beautiful
exhaust system. Its pedigree is impeccable: Magni was Count Domenico Agusta’s
Direttore Sportivo del Reparto Corse, the head of the MV Agusta racing
team. When Agusta pulled out of racing in 1976, Magni set up his own company:
first producing racing parts, and then selling modified versions of contemporary
motorcycles. These sensational machines were based on the Honda Bol d’Or, then
BMW boxers, Moto Guzzi twins and finally Suzuki fours.
