NO FAT, ONLY MUSCLES

What isn’t there won’t weigh you down – that is the philosophy of the 690 SMC R. A brawny single, a rugged frame, draped with only the most essential components – that is all it takes for great fun on road and track. And the way to achieve a sensational dry weight of less than 140 kilos. Even the tubes in the tires are discarded thanks to specially developed wire wheels with airtight beds.

The weight reduction thusly achieved lets the fully adjustable WP suspension components, once again optimised for MY2012, do their job even more diligently. Small wonder that the new LC4 power plant from the Duke R with even greater power reserves an easy time propelling this hard core Supermoto. Carried over from the Enduro, the perfectly balanced layout with a self-supporting
polymer tail tank ensures that skilled riders can sling the 690 SMC R effortlessly into any corner. An adult toy for experts!
