The Spanish division of Harley-Davidson
auctioned off a one-of-a-kind VRSCDX Night Rod Special designed by Custo
Barcelona, which will benefit the charitable foundation San Juan de Dios, to
expand the resources of its children’s hospital in Sierra Leone.
The standard Harley-Davidson Night Rod Special retails for $14,699 in the
Unites States, and comes available in a variety of color schemes, such as
Brilliant Silver Pearl / Black Racing Stripe with ghost Flames, Chrome
Yellow / Black Racing Stripe with Ghost Flames, Sedona Orange / Black Racing
Stripe with Ghost Flames or Black Denim / Sedona Orange Racing Stripe.
The Night Rod Special is powered by a liquid-cooled 1,250cc V-Twin
Revolution engine that produces 123 horsepower and 85 lb.ft. (115 Nm) of
torque, and rides on new Michelin Scorcher tires. The bike features black
wheels, black frame, black fork lowers, triple clamps, swingarm, racing
stripes on the airbox cover and a color-matched speed screen visor. |
