For younger riders hankering for motorcycle adventure, but who may not
ready for their first Yamaha XT660Z Tenere just yet, Derbi may have an answer –
the Terra Adventure 125.
The Derbi Terra Adventure 125 features Paris-Dakar Rally styling, 21-inch
(front) and 17-inch (rear) wheels, dual-purpose tyres, 41mm front fork and
adjustable rear monoshock, and a liquid-cooled, single-cylinder 125cc engine
that makes 15bhp at 9,250rpm.
Those who’ll want to undertake really long journeys on the 125cc machine can go
for the optional aluminum sidecases and GPS system. The standard bike, now
available in Europe, costs the equivalent of about US$5,800.
