A one-off chopper created as a tribute to the
late rally world champion Richard Burns. The bike, created by
Midlands-based Ironside Choppers, cost around £18,000 to build over more than a
100 hours. It carries the blue and yellow Subaru livery of Burns’ world
championship winning Impreza and details of his long and successful rallying
career. There is also an image of the former World Rally Champion emblazoned on
the fuel tank. It has also been autographed by dozens of sporting greats
including, Sir Stirling Moss, Sir Jackie Stewart, Leon Haslam and James Haydon.
Simon Turley from Ironside Choppers said: "A lot
of blood, sweat and tears have gone into building the bike, but we couldn’t be
more pleased with the way it has turned out. "We have received brilliant support
from the motorsport world and it has been amazing to get the signatures of so
many motorsport legends on the bike.
