Dream Factory Chopper

The Dream Factory asked brothers Jeremy and Jason
Cantwell of Derby City Customs to design a motorcycle that will be used in a
raffle where the proceeds go to sick children. Both companies are based in
Louisville, Kentucky.
The Dream Factory grants dreams to children 3 through 18 who are critically or
chronically ill
The Cantwell brothers donated their time for two months and designed a custom
chopper from concept to completion.
“The chopper is all hand molded sheet metal,” said Jeremy Cantwell. “It has a
Softtail design that is eight inches up and five inches out.” A powerful 113
cubic-inch Ultima engine with a six speed Ultima transmission were built into
the 2008 Diablo frame.
The electric blue bike was painted by Jerry Smothers and the seat was created by
Unique Designs Upholstery to model the Dream Factory logo. “The faces of the
kids on the bike are all air brushed by Gary Smith of Louisville, Kentucky,”
said Cantwell. “They faces are not modeled after any particular child, but were
made to represent all children with hope.”
